The classical music quartet Ars Musik, an idea that arises from a commitment to dreams

“Believe in Ourselves: An Ode to Joy, Hope, and Pride”

Chamber music taken to another level is the specialty of Cuarteto Ars Musik, a dream that has now reached five years of success and has earned its place on stages around the world.

The orchestra will be performing at the First BNI Convention, presenting some of the most famous musical works in history. They will share with attendees the “sound of kings” and also showcase the harmony of a business success story.

Cathy Barrow, the artistic director of Ars Musik, has been a BNI member for eight years. Originally from the United States, she now lives in Mexico, where she founded the quartet, which is 100% Mexican. She arrived in Toluca, where she started a travel agency while continuing to pursue her lifelong dream: building a business around classical music.

“I am proving that you can hold your head high, say ‘I am a musician, invest in me, and let’s work together,’” Cathy recalls telling her friend Jesús Rocha, also a BNI member, just days after meeting him on a bus during another BNI convention. Since then, they have conquered numerous stages together—she with her music, and Jesús as the driving force behind the initiative.

One of their main goals is to teach the music world how to be entrepreneurs, ensuring that musicians become the focal point and can live with dignity through their art. In short, they want musicians to believe in themselves.
